April 28th – vBrisket Event! Automation: 101 to Blackbelt

Happy Monday vBrisketeers, remember with all of this crazy weather that April showers bring May flowers! We hope everyone had a fantastic winter season and is ready for the first vBrisket event of 2016. It is truly amazing the reach that our small little Pittsburgh IT Community has. When Jaison, John, Gabe and myself were looking for potential speakers we’re constantly in search for the “unicorn.” The unicorns are the persons that our Community would not traditionally get access to.

On April 28th at the Grist House 230 – 5+ EST we’ll be joined by Josh Atwell from SolidFire. Josh is a long time community contributor and well versed in BBQ! We’re fortunate enough to have Josh with us to discuss all things Automation with the community! Josh Atwell is a Developer Advocate for SolidFire focusing on building their community of developers. Over the last 10+ years he has worked very hard to allow little pieces of code to do his work for him through various automation tools. We’ll also be having some vBrisket Prime Cuts Podcast recording sessions so please come prepared with great questions and topics.Josh is a contributing author to the popular Mastering vSphere series and the Devops for VMware Administrators book.  He is highly involved in the virtualization, PowerShell, and DevOps communities. Never known for lacking an opinion he sometimes write on vTesseract.com and regularly tweets at @josh_atwell.
